Community Bible Study

Here at Riverside Church of Christ , our mission is “to know Christ and to make Him known.”  We also believe that Jesus was serious about the words he spoke in Matthew Chapter 25:31-46.  Therefore, we are very active in the Acadiana area with our outreach efforts.  Our desire is to help our neighbors with their spiritual needs, as well as their physical needs.  We are active with some of the area half-way houses and the recovery centers.  We also conduct weekly Bible studies at one of the local housing developments.

Come join us on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall to experience the Community Bible Study (CBS).  CBS is a daily life lesson study based upon Biblical scripture and how it applies to your life personally.

“How To Move Forward In Your Life and Not Look Back”
“Reaping What You Sow”
“What is prayer?”
“Understanding God’s Word (the Bible)”
“Keeping a Positive Attitude”
“How to Live a Happy Life”
“Finding and Giving Forgiveness”
“Does God Feel Our Pain?”

Many other themed lessons are taught; please join us to hear from God’s Word on how we are to live our lives.
